We can guess what you’re thinking right now as you recall past years spent in the Black Friday trenches – is it really time for all this madness again? Where in holy heaven did 2014 <em>go</em>, anyway?</br></br>But, it’s true. We’re here. No Long Lines</strong></br></br>Have you ever actually been out there on Black Friday? It’s bedlam. Flip on the news; or not. You don’t have to look to know what's going on out there.</br></br>Just sit back, relax and enjoy what you’re doing right at this moment, which is hopefully nothing. Sip your tea and luxuriate in the knowledge that our deals will still be available by the time you get to the bottom of your cup.</br></br><strong>2. No Loud Noise</strong></br></br>Let’s make a short list of all the grating sounds you can gleefully avoid today: sirens, shouting, honking, screeching tires, store alarm bells, clanging cash registers …</br></br>What’s that? You like Johnny Cash? Awesome – go ahead and turn up the volume on that ol’ jailhouse crooner. We’ll wait.</br></br><strong>3. No Lost Time</strong></br></br>So, what do you plan to do with the rest of your day? Maybe make a pie? Play some catch in the yard with the kids? Maybe both – or maybe nothing at all, because it’s <em>Friday</em>, for Pete’s sake.</br></br>When did such a glorious November day become such a hectic holiday scramble? No Last-Minute Pressure</strong></br></br><a title="Newsday" href="http://www.newsday.com/classifieds/cars/car-nation-1.811928/car-accidents-rise-on-black-friday-1.4249548" target="_blank">A 2012 study by Progressive Insurance</a> showed a 36.5% increase in car accidents on Black Friday when compared to other Fridays in November and December over the previous three years, and analysts attributed the rise to people rushing around for last-minute deals.</br></br>There’re two words for that: totally unnecessary.</br></br>To brave the mob or snuggle deeper down into your favorite robe … it’s your call. All we want is for you to have a safe and happy Black Friday, and happy holidays all around!
