Coyuchi, founded in 1991 on the Northern California coast, is best known for its eco-conscious organic cotton sourcing and processing, and nature-inspired textile designs.
As a one-stop shop for all things linen, Coyuchi has grabbed the attention of many for being eco-friendly with a luxurious feel. They have a strong commitment to crafting the best possible products while also finding ways to give back to the environment and their customers.
Coyuchi is expanding every day, and is definitely a company to watch. Many believe they are transforming the world of linens, and are setting a new standard for environmental stewardship.
Designer Tip: Layer, layer and more layer! Adding layers to your bed creates depth and allows you to either bundle up or stay cool. Start with a fitted sheet, add in your flat sheet, add a coverlet or matelasse and then top off with your duvet (I always fold mine halfway down my bed). You can even finish off with a throw.
And, don't forget to layer your pillows! Have your standard pillows match your sheets, match your euro shams to your coverlet or duvet, and then add in decorative pillows.
Finally, keep a large basket next to your bed where you can throw your pillows and additional blankets at night.
Coyuchi believes every home can be a unique, personal sanctuary that connects the mind, body and spirit.
Knowing where my linens come from brings me peace of mind. I love their elegant style, which is enhanced by subtle textures, rich colors and refined details.
I also enjoy how their fabrics breathe, and how they get softer with each wash, because they're made of natural fiber.
Sheets that get better with age? AMAZING.
Then, there’s always the hesitation that comes with buying linens online, but Coyuchi removes the guesswork by using natural materials and minimal processing. Their attention to detail makes these products both softer and more durable, which is a great combination for any textile designed for daily use.
